He has a master's degree in Information and Communication course from the Waseda University in 2000. He started his career at Softbank in the same year, he was part of the team that launched the Yahoo! BB, after three years of service he became Manager of Softbank BBNW Engineering Department, next three years he became Division manager of three companies such as Softbank BB,Softbank telecom and Softbank Mobile.

In 2007, Softbank Libra was established for the purpose of contributing to humanity by utilizing IT.

He was appointed CEO of Softbank Libra(concurrent).

Masato Hosotani, Director

He graduated in faculty of environmental information at Keio University in 1998. He started his career at Softbank in the same year. Since 2002, He participated in the launch of Yahoo!!BB as an engineer.

Then, he retired. He graduated in Master of Human resource management(MBA) at Graduate School of Business,University of Newcastle.

In 2007, he was a Global Technology consulting manager of Accenture. After that he was Board director of Neuro insight Japan.

In April 2009, he joined to Softbank Libra. August 2009, he was appointed company director of Softbank Libra.
